With an all new vehicle, entering a new segment for Ford, taking on some tough competition, the task for Ignition was to create & execute a unique launch training event that would deliver on every level.

 

By creating an event identity “You can. If you want to” the Ignition team decided to develop the theme in every aspect of the delegate’s experience. The dynamic opening sequence featured 3RUN, Europe’s best free runners, whilst driving took place on & off road and key learning sessions focused on conquesting customers - each aspect of the day reinforced the message that with dedication, ability and the right skills “You can. If you want to”.

 

Highlights included the specially developed ‘Short Course’, where delegates were able to experience New Ford Kuga’s off road credentials without actually going near the rough stuff and the opportunity to drive Kuga on a loose handling circuit. The day’s driving included an extensive mix of road, circuit, tracks and trails giving an invaluable insight into New Ford Kuga’s surprising abilities.

 

Working with Ford of Britain’s Car Marketing Team and The Henry Ford College Ignition were tasked to develop the overall theme, insightful training content and immersive driving activities, to deliver a truly successful launch event.
