Location: Brussels, Belgium
Delegates: 100
Customer: Toyota Motor Europe
The brief was clear; Toyota Motor Europe needed a compact event, making best use of ‘in-house’ resources and collateral wherever possible for the European Train-the-Trainer launch of Landcruiser V8 in Brussels.
For the first time Sales and Aftersales teams would be brought together and the key challenge for the Ignition team was to deliver a one-day programme that would integrate theory with driving for both on and off road situations. The Landcruiser V8 is designed to deliver superior handling and stability on road, combined with introducing a range of new technologies for outstanding all terrain performance.
The Ignition team designed an extreme off road track comprising inclines, descents, axle articulation, loose surfaces, rocks and even a wading element – all to put Landcruiser V8 through its paces against Mercedes Benz GL and Range Rover. Complimenting the extreme off road course, the Ignition team designed a range of road routes – city, country, highway, pave & tracks – using its own CoDriver route navigation & product information to ensure that not only did delegates keep on the right route they also learnt about the product whilst en-route.
The whole experience was designed to equip delegates with the key product & technical knowledge needed, surprise and delight with the vehicles capabilities, give an insight into its strengths vs. the competition – all in a high impact, cost effective, 1 day programme.
